National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has released Round 2 DNB Post Diploma 2024 admissions seat allotment results. All candidates eligible and those who attended counselling rounds are able to access their allotted seats and download seat allotment results through the NBEMS website. Seat allotment results are the ultimate and decide the assignment of the student to specific medical colleges or institutions.
In the Round 2 allotment process, candidates who have been successfully assigned seats are asked to either accept or freeze their allotted seat to confirm their admission. This step is very important as freezing the seat would mean that the candidate has confirmed joining the allotted institution. In order to freeze the seat, candidates have to pay the first-year course fee of Rs 1,25,000. This fee is nonrefundable. Once paid, it cannot be returned, even if the candidate later decides to withdraw. The fee must be paid within the stipulated time frame to secure the seat.
It must be noted that a candidate once he pays the fee for the first year course and the seat gets freezed would not be able to attend any subsequent counselling rounds including Mop-up Round if conducted by NBEMS. This would imply that the candidates who get a seat in Round 2 would not be able to seek another seat in subsequent rounds of counselling.
The seat allotment result will give valuable information, such as the roll numbers of the candidates with the specific medical colleges or institutions they have been allotted to. In this round, 225 candidates have been allotted seats. A PDF format is available in the result document, so it can be easily downloaded and printed for future reference. This document shall be taken as a proof of allotment of seats and may be required to be presented further for any admission procedures.
Candidates must visit the official NBEMS website: natboard.edu.in for checking Round 2 seat allotment results. Once at the website, candidates are required to search for the direct link on the website regarding NBE DNB Seat Allotment Result. When clicking on this link, a new page will open to show the PDF document in which all seat allotment information will be available. Candidates need to search the roll number within the PDF to see whether they are assigned to any college or institute. After finding out the roll number, it would be best if candidates downloaded the PDF to print for further reference purposes.
