The Andhra Pradesh Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has announced the results of the Andhra Pradesh Secondary School Certificate (AP SSC) Examination 2025. The state education minister, Nara Lokesh, announced the results at a press conference on April 24, 2025. The exam was conducted from March 17 to March 31, 2025, and a total of 6,14,459 students took the Class X exam. Of these, 4,98,585 students passed successfully, which is a pass percentage of 81.41%. This year, about 6.5 lakh students have taken the AP SSC exam.

Apart from the conventional ways of verification of results on the official website, students may even get their results on WhatsApp and the LEAP App. To verify results through WhatsApp, students have to send a message entitled “Hi” to 9552300009, choose the option of Education Services, and then select SSC Public Exam or open school inter results. Students after this have to input their hall ticket number so that they get a PDF copy of the result. The move gives an alternate and easy method for students to get their results.

The test was done within one shift, 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, with the majority of subjects being conducted within this time. The test began with the First Language (Group A) paper and ended with the Social Studies paper. This year’s test session was characterized by a wide range of subjects the students had to study for, but even in the difficulty, the pass rate attests to the commitment and hard work of the students.

One of the highlights of the 2025 AP SSC results is Parvathipuram Manyam, which came out as the top-performing district with a whopping pass percentage of 93.90%. This district led the pack for its high success rate, proving that students from this region were exceptionally well-trained and performed excellently in the exams. The top performance of the district is a reflection of the hard work put in by schools, teachers, and students to attain academic excellence.

To verify their results, students can use the following easy steps. First, they need to go to the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP), which is https://bse.ap.gov.in/. On the home page, they will see a section for the Class 10 (SSC) Results. Clicking on this link will take students to a new page where they will have to enter their roll number in the given field. Once the roll number is entered, the AP SSC results for 2025 will be displayed on the screen. Students are recommended to download and save a copy of their results for future use.

The AP SSC exams need the candidates to score at least 35% marks to pass. Candidates who fail to attain the same will be required to write the supplementary examination. This is a vital chance for candidates to enhance their marks and pass the exam. The supplementary examination will be conducted soon after the release of results, providing the students who failed the previous test an opportunity to prove themselves.

For students who are not content with their performance or feel that there has been a mistake in the assessment of their exam scripts, the Board has made provision for re-verification and recounting. Students can avail this facility online through the official website of BSEAP. Application for recount and re-verification began from April 24, 2025, and will go on until May 1, 2025, until 11:00 pm. The recounting charge is Rs 500 per subject, and the re-verification charge is Rs 1,000 per subject. This facility enables students to double-check that their marks have been correctly marked and is an option for correcting any errors in their marks.

The announcement of the AP SSC results is always a significant event for students, parents, and educators, marking the culmination of years of hard work and preparation. The state’s education department has made considerable efforts to ensure that the results are accessible through multiple platforms, making it easier for students to check their performance. While students wait for their results, they can also look forward to the future opportunities that await them, whether they are continuing their studies in the 11th grade or pursuing other professions.
