The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially declared the Class XII Arts stream results for 2025 today, bringing cheer to lakhs of students and their families across the state. The results, released on June 5, showed a significant improvement in overall performance, with a commendable pass percentage of 95.62%, up from last year’s 93.16%. This marks a 2.46% increase, indicating a positive academic trend in the state’s Arts stream education.
This year, a total of 2,28,959 students had registered for the Class XII Arts examination. Out of these, 2,27,222 students appeared for the exam, and 2,17,273 successfully passed. The results showed a healthy distribution across divisions, with 1,07,867 students securing first division, 1,04,314 securing second division, and 5,091 making it to the third division. The high overall pass rate reflects both the preparedness of the students and the efforts of schools and teachers across Jharkhand.
The spotlight this year is on Dev Tiwari from +2 J K High School in Rajmahal, who has emerged as the state topper in the Arts stream with an impressive score of 481 out of 500. His achievement stands as a testament to hard work and dedication and has brought immense pride to his school and district.
Among the districts, Khunti has secured the top spot with an extraordinary pass percentage of 99.53%, making it the best-performing district in the state. It was followed closely by Simdega with 99.13%, and Hazaribagh at 98.55%. Other districts that made it to the top ten list include Gumla (98.32%), Latehar (98.03%), Dhanbad (97.64%), West Singhbhum (97.50%), Lohardaga (97.25%), Ranchi (97.19%), and Bokaro (97.17%). These figures highlight the consistent academic excellence observed across various regions of Jharkhand and showcase the district-level contributions to the state’s overall educational progress.
Students can now access their digital mark sheets via official websites by entering their roll code and roll number. The results are available on platforms including jacresults.com, the official JAC portal (https://jac.jharkhand.gov.in/), and DigiLocker (https://results.digilocker.gov.in/). To check their results, students need to visit the official website, find the link titled ‘JAC Exam Results 2025,’ and click on the ‘Result of Annual Intermediate Arts Examination 2025’ section. After entering the required login credentials, such as roll code and roll number, the digital mark sheet will be displayed on the screen.
For those preferring to use DigiLocker, students can log in with their credentials or sign up using their Aadhaar number. After authentication, they must enter their roll code and roll number to access and download their marksheet. The digital version serves as an official document for provisional use until students collect their physical mark sheets.
The JAC has also announced provisions for students who are dissatisfied with their results. Those who wish to apply for re-evaluation will soon be able to do so once the detailed notification is released on the official JAC website. The process is expected to include application deadlines, fees, and step-by-step instructions.
In addition, for students who were unable to pass in one or two subjects, the Jharkhand Academic Council will conduct compartmental examinations. The schedule and application procedure for these supplementary exams will also be made available shortly. This provision ensures that students get a second chance to clear their subjects without having to repeat an entire academic year.
While the digital marksheets are accessible online, students are strongly advised to collect their original mark sheets and certificates from their respective schools. These documents are crucial for future admissions and verification purposes and will be distributed once the school-based process begins.
With the successful declaration of the 2025 Arts stream results, Jharkhand has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence. The upward trend in pass percentages and the remarkable performances by students across districts reflect the growing educational awareness and infrastructure development in the state. As students celebrate their success, the focus now shifts to the next phase of their academic journey—higher education and career planning.
The Jharkhand Academic Council has urged students and guardians to rely only on official and verified sources for result-related information and updates. As the process for re-evaluation and compartment exams unfolds, students are encouraged to remain informed through the council’s official communication channels.
For now, the achievements of students like Dev Tiwari and the exceptional performance of districts like Khunti serve as inspiration and proof of the potential that lies within Jharkhand’s academic landscape.
